The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office participated in the 29th Annual State D.A.R.E. Training Conference held July 20-23 in Baton Rouge, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.

The Drug Abuse Resistance Education program coordinators, Capt. Lisa Jackson and Sgt. The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office D.A.R.E. vehicle, a 2010 Ford F-150, was named the first place winner in the D.A.R.E. conference car show’s Class 4 which include cars, trucks, recreational vehicles, boats, and motorcycles that are used for special occasions such as school functions and parades.
