UPDATED INFO ON ST. CLAUDE AVENUE BRIDGE CLOSURE

From the Port of New Orleans:

The closure schedule for repair work at the St. Claude Avenue Bridge has been modified with these two updates:

The bridge will be raised and the pedestrian walkways will be closed from 8:00 PM Friday, Feb 23rd until 6:00 AM Saturday, Feb. 24th.

All lanes of the roadway will now re-open at 12:00 AM Sunday, Feb. 25th.

Below is the full updated closure schedule.

The St. Claude Avenue Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic and marine traffic as shown below for bridge machinery repairs.

Roadway Closures:

Friday, Feb. 23rd, 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM…………………………………. Right Lane Closed – Westbound Only

Friday, Feb. 23rd, 8:00 PM – Saturday, Feb. 24th, 6:00 AM……. Full Roadway Closure & Pedestrian Walkway Closure

Saturday, Feb. 24th, 6:00 AM – Sunday, Feb. 25th, 12:00 AM… Full Roadway Closure (Pedestrian Walkways Open)

Marine Closure:

Saturday, Feb. 24th, 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM……………………….. Full Marine Closure (16 Hours)

Note: The bridge will remain in the “fully lowered” position during the marine closure, and pedestrian walkways will be open.

Alternate Routes for Roadway Traffic:

Judge Seeber (Claiborne Avenue) Bridge (LA 39) and

Florida Avenue Bridge

ST. CLAUDE AVENUE BRIDGE CLOSURE

According to the Port of New Orleans, the right westbound lane of the St. Claude Avenue Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic for bridge machinery repairs on Friday, Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

All lanes will be closed on Friday, Feb. 23 from 8 p.m. through 12 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25.

Then on Sunday, Feb. 25 from 12 a.m. through 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 26 the right eastbound lane will be closed.

Alternate routes include the
Judge Seeber (Claiborne Avenue) Bridge (LA 39) and
the Florida Avenue Bridge.
