According to the Port of New Orleans, the Florida Avenue Bridge is currently closed to vehicular traffic due to operational issues caused by strong, gusty winds. At this time, the bridge will remain raised and open to marine traffic.
Normal operations are expected to resume later this afternoon once winds subside.
