SBSO SEARCHING FOR MISSING TEEN
The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a 15-year-old juvenile female from Meraux who was recently reported missing by her foster family, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
Murquell Jackson was last seen at the home of her foster family in the 4400 block of Olive Drive in Meraux.
Murquell is 5’7” tall and weighs about 115 lbs. She was last seen wearing a white tank top shirt and black shorts, carrying a black Reebok backpack. She no longer has dreads in her hair and was last seen with a short haircut.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Murquell is asked to contact St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office at (504) 271-2501 or the Criminal Investigations Bureau at (504) 278-7630. Tipsters also can call the Criminal Investigations Bureau’s tip hotline, (504) 271-TIPS or 8477, where they can leave a detailed message, and can either choose to provide their contact information or remain anonymous.
