TRAFFIC ALERT

St. Bernard Highway (LA 46) is currently shut down in both directions from Jacob Drive in Chalmette to Munster Boulevard in Meraux as SBSO deputies and Louisiana State Police work the scene of a traffic accident.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes while first responders remain on scene conducting the investigation and clearing the roadway.
