TRAFFIC ALERT: Temporary Road Closure on LA 39 (Claiborne Ave)
According to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), please be advised that both westbound and eastbound lanes of LA 39 (Claiborne Avenue at the Judge Seeber/Claiborne Bridge) will be completely closed to vehicular traffic beginning:
Friday, May 23, 2025 at 8:00 PM
until Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 1:00 AM
(weather permitting)
This temporary full closure is necessary to allow for the safe passage of marine traffic.
Detour: Drivers are advised to use St. Claude Avenue as an alternate route during this time.
Please plan ahead and use alternate routes.
