TRAFFIC ALERT: Lane Closure Correction for LA 47/Paris Rd. “Green Bridge”

The DOTD is correcting and updating information regarding an upcoming lane closure on LA 47/Paris Road.
CORRECTION:
An earlier notice from DOTD incorrectly stated that the lane closure would occur on the Bayou Bienvenue Bridge. The northbound lane closure scheduled for Sunday evening, May 4, is actually for the “Green Bridge” on LA 47/Paris Road. There will be no lane closures on the Bayou Bienvenue Bridge.
UPDATED CLOSURE DETAILS:
➡️Route: LA 47 / Paris Road “Green Bridge”
➡️Closure Type: Partial lane closure – Northbound lanes only
➡️Start: Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 8 P.M.
️End: Monday, May 5, 2025 at 5 A.M.
➡️Purpose: Crews will be relocating concrete barriers and striping the roadway as part of DOTD’s $17.5 million bridge replacement project.
➡️Note: Work is weather permitting.
DOTD also clarified that a sign was previously posted in error, indicating a closure on Friday, April 25 – that information was incorrect, and no closure took place on that date.
