⚠️🚧TRAFFIC ALERT: CLAIBORNE BRIDGE CLOSURE THIS WEEKEND🚧⚠️
According to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), both westbound and eastbound lanes of LA 39 (N. Claiborne Ave) at the Judge Seeber Bridge will be fully closed to vehicular traffic beginning:
🕕 Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 6 A.M. until Sunday, June 29, 2025 at 5 P.M.
(Weather permitting)
🚧 Reason for Closure: Bridge construction – crews will be trimming stringers and replacing span guides.
🚗 Detour Route: Motorists are advised to take LA 46/St. Claude Avenue as an alternate route during the closure.
Please use caution in the area, follow posted detour signs, and allow extra time for travel.
