According to the New Orleans Police Department, motorists are advised that an 18-wheel truck is overturned on North Claiborne Avenue eastbound (headed toward St. Bernard Parish) near the intersection of Fats Domino Avenue.
No injuries have been reported in this single-vehicle accident; however, traffic is expected to be impacted until the truck can be cleared from the roadway.
Drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route until the area is cleared.
