The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has announced a full southbound closure of LA 47’s Green Bridge from 10 p.m. Friday, May 30 to 5 a.m. Saturday, May 31.
This closure is necessary for crews to shift concrete barriers and install lane striping on the bridge deck. Northbound lanes will remain open.
This work is part of the ongoing $45 million cleaning and painting project on the bridge, expected to be completed later this year.
Please plan accordingly and choose a different route during those hours.
