⚠️🚧 TRAFFIC ADVISORY: ST. CLAUDE BRIDGE UPDATE 🚧⚠️
According to the Port of New Orleans, repairs to the damaged motor components on the St. Claude Avenue Bridge are underway, and the bridge is expected to reopen to vehicular traffic and resume normal operations late tomorrow.
If normal operations cannot resume by Monday morning, the bridge will operate on a limited schedule using the emergency engine.
Beginning Monday, March 9 at 6:30 a.m., the roadway will be open to vehicular traffic during the established weekday “Bridge Curfew” periods:
Bridge Curfews (Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays):
• 6:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
• 3:30 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
During times outside of these curfews, the bridge will remain raised and open to marine traffic.
Please plan travel accordingly and expect delays. 🚗⏱️
