🚨⚠️ TRAFFIC ADVISORY – JUDGE PEREZ DRIVE AND PATRICIA STREET IN ARABI 🚧
Motorists are advised that both eastbound and westbound lanes of Judge Perez Drive AND Patricia Street in Arabi are fully shut down as crews work to safely handle an accident involving a vehicle and a Norfolk Southern train. The train is currently blocking both roadways.
There are no reported life-threatening injuries, and no hazardous materials are involved.
Please use caution in the area and seek alternate routes while deputies and other personnel continue working the scene.
Motorists are advised to use St. Claude Avenue or Paris Road to enter and exit St. Bernard Parish until further notice.
An update will be provided once Judge Perez Drive and Patricia Street are reopened.
