Heads up, drivers! Another bridge closure!
According to Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), the Claiborne Avenue Bridge (LA 39 Eastbound & Westbound) will undergo nightly full closures for roadwork starting tonight (July 1) through Tuesday, July 15, weather permitting.
🔒 Closure Details:
🕘 Nightly from 9 PM – 5 AM (Bridge closed to all vehicular traffic) July 1-15
🚗 Open daily from 5 AM – 9 PM
🛥️ Marine traffic will still be permitted overnight
Please plan your travel accordingly and use alternate routes during the overnight closures.
