Motorists in St. Bernard should be aware of the following upcoming bridge work in New Orleans that may impact their travel:
⚠️FLORIDA AVENUE BRIDGE – LANE RESTRICTIONS

Work Dates:
➡️ Monday, May 12 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
➡️ Tuesday, May 13 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Details:
Due to rescheduled pavement striping, the Florida Avenue Bridge will be reduced to a single lane, with flaggers directing two-way traffic during work hours.
Note: This work does not affect marine or rail traffic.

• St. Claude Avenue Bridge (LA 46)
• Claiborne Avenue Judge Seeber Bridge (LA 39)
⚠️CLAIBORNE AVENUE BRIDGE (LA 39) – FULL CLOSURE

Closure Dates & Times:
➡️ Saturday, May 17 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
➡️ Sunday, May 18 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Details:
The Claiborne Avenue Bridge (Judge Seeber Bridge) will be fully closed to vehicular traffic in both directions for scheduled bridge work. (Weather permitting) The bridge will remain open to marine traffic.

• Florida Avenue Bridge
