St. Bernard Sheriff James Pohlmann would like to thank voters in St. Bernard Parish for supporting the Sheriff’s Office millage continuation at the polls today. The measure passed with 70.85% of the vote.

Sheriff Pohlmann said the millage continuation will allow the Sheriff’s Office to keep receiving necessary funding resources that are imperative to keeping St. Bernard safe.

“Thank you for providing us with the means needed to continue to make St. Bernard a safe place to live, work and raise a family,” the Sheriff said. “Your support is greatly appreciated.”
