🚨☎️ SUICIDE 7 CRISIS LINE 9️⃣8️⃣8️⃣

Sheriff Pohlmann urges the community to prioritize mental health this holiday season as St. Bernard faces a troubling rise in suicides.

In 2024, the Sheriff’s Office has responded to nine suicides, compared to three in 2023. Behind each number is a life lost and loved ones grieving.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out.

The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7. Call or text 988 or visit 988lifeline.org.

“Talking about mental health can save lives. Let’s support each other this holiday season,” Sheriff Pohlmann said.
