St. Tammany Parish – Troopers and other first responders are currently on the scene of multiple grass fires along Interstate 12.
All eastbound traffic on Interstate 12 is being diverted to LA Highway 59, and all westbound traffic is being diverted to LA Highway 434.
Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes, including US Highway 190 or LA Highway 36, to avoid the affected area while crews continue to work the scene.
