St. Claude Bridge Temporary Operating Procedure & Traffic Closure Update:
Starting tomorrow morning (12/11/24), the temporary operating procedure and closure schedule at the St. Claude Bridge will be altered to alleviate the disruption of marine traffic on the Intracoastal Waterway. The revised schedule is shown below and will remain in effect until normal bridge operations can safely resume. If necessary, the schedule will be revised to accommodate upcoming repair work scheduled at the Judge Seeber (Claiborne Avenue) Bridge this coming weekend.
6:30 AM – 8:30 AM Open to Vehicular Traffic, Bicycles & Pedestrians (closed to Marine Traffic)
8:30 AM – 3:30 PM Closed to Vehicular Traffic, Bicycles & Pedestrians (raised/open to Marine Traffic)
3:30 PM – 6:00 PM Open to Vehicular Traffic, Bicycles & Pedestrians (closed to Marine Traffic)
6:00 PM – 6:30 AM Closed to Vehicular Traffic, Bicycles & Pedestrians (raised/open to Marine Traffic)
Alternate Routes: Judge Seeber (Claiborne Avenue) Bridge – LA 39 and Florida Avenue Bridge
