St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office searching for three male suspects
in connection with residential armed robbery in Violet
The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public in locating and identifying three male suspects who robbed at gunpoint a Violet family in their home, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
During the early morning hours of Sept. 26, Sheriff Pohlmann said, deputies responded to a call about an armed robbery which took place in the Daniel Park area in Violet.
According to the female victim, three black males entered her home and held her and her three children at gunpoint for an extended period of time while they ransacked their home. The suspects tied up the female before they left and fled with her debit card.
Shortly after the incident, the Sheriff said, video surveillance was obtained of one of the male suspects using the victim’s debit card to withdraw money at a Chase ATM in eastern New Orleans.
