St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office arrests Violet couple on narcotics charges
The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office arrested a Violet couple on various narcotics charges following an investigation conducted by the Special Investigations Division Narcotics Unit, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
Godfrey Brickley, 40, and Dominique Narcisse, 35, both of the 2900 block of Stacie Drive in Violet, were both booked with possession with the intent to distribute heroin and possession of MDMA (Ecstasy).
After obtaining information that Brickley was involved in illegal drug activity in St. Bernard, Narcotics Unit agents opened an investigation. Based on their findings, agents executed a search warrant Feb. 9 on his residence, Sheriff Pohlmann said.
During the investigation, agents recovered approximately 95 grams of heroin and fifteen dosage units of MDMA (Ecstasy) with a combined street value of approximately $9,800. Agents also recovered a digital scale and clear plastic bags used for packaging.
Criminal history checks were conducted on both subjects, which revealed Brickley has several prior arrests for possession/distribution of illegal narcotics out of Orleans Parish.
Brickley and Narcisse were both transported to the St. Bernard Parish Prison to be booked on the above charges.
Sheriff Pohlmann reminds residents to call the Sheriff’s Office narcotics hotline at (504) 271-DOPE or 3673 to report suspected illegal drug activity in St. Bernard Parish. Callers can remain anonymous, and all calls will be acted upon.
