St. Bernard Parish Coronavirus Update – April 30, 2020

President McInnis discusses the possibility of mobile testing sites in St. Bernard Parish and the mask distribution occurring on Friday, May 1.

St. Bernard Parish Government will distribute 16,000 reusable masks to the public on Friday, May 1, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The masks were donated by Hanes Corporation.

Masks will be distributed by drive thru only at 3 locations throughout the Parish. Masks will be distributed by the St. Bernard Fire Department. In addition, the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office will also be on site to assist.

Due to the limited number of masks parish officials are asking only those in need to participate.… More
