🚨SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATING FIGHT AT SCHOOL 🚨 The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office is investigating an altercation that took place involving several students on Friday (Aug. 18) at Chalmette High School, Sheriff James Pohlmann said. Shortly before 11 a.m., the Sheriff said, deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a School Resource Officer needing assistance on the second floor of the main campus. During the incident, an SRO’s taser was deployed. Eight students were arrested following the incident, and two teachers received minor injuries. The investigation is ongoing, the Sheriff said.
