SHERIFF POHLMANN VISITING WITH CHS STUDENTS TODAY

St. Bernard Sheriff James Pohlmann is visiting with nearly 150 Chalmette High School freshmen today (Nov. 17) to speak to them about the dangers of alcohol and drug addiction and about making good choices.

Sheriff Pohlmann is among several community leaders visiting with the ninth graders over a 10-day period as part of the school’s participation in the national program “You Are Too Good For Drugs!”

The program is being facilitated by Charles Cassar, cultural arts program coordinator for St. Bernard Parish Public Schools, in cooperation with VJ Dauterive and Desiree Hebert Wibright.
