Sheriff James Pohlmann asks residents to exercise extra caution ⚠️ Tuesday (Oct. 23) morning when driving 🚙 as visibility 👀 will be significantly reduced due to foggy 🌫️conditions. “In foggy weather, it’s essential to slow down, keep a safe following distance, and use your💡headlights,” the Sheriff said. “Plan extra travel ⏰ time, be patient when traveling, and always prioritize safety.” Thoughts and prayers 🙏🏼 go out to all those affected by this morning’s crash on I-55 in St. John the Baptist Parish which claimed the lives of several motorists and injured numerous others.
