Sheriff James Pohlmann and the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office extend our heartfelt prayers and support to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office during this incredibly difficult time.
We are deeply saddened as they grieve the loss of a deputy who was tragically killed in the line of duty during a motorcycle crash today while conducting a funeral escort.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the deputy’s family, loved ones, and the entire Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, as well as all of the other first responders who rushed to help during this devastating moment.
