Sgt. Dixie Dusang and Dep. Ashley Blasio Davis, both of the Field Operations Bureau Patrol Division’s 2nd Platoon, along with FOB Deputies Corey Bordelon and Patrick Clark and off-duty Detective Sgt. Jeff Vega, not pictured, responded to a call for service just before 10 a.m. today in reference to a special needs child who was wandering alone along Rowley Boulevard in Arabi.
The deputies were able to locate the 9-year-old female, safe and unharmed, and reunite her with her mom who was searching for her after she wandered away from home. Special thanks to employees at C and C Drugs who assisted the deputies.
