Several St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office deputies served as escorts for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade held by the NAACP in St. Bernard on Monday, Jan. 17. The parade began near Walkers Lane and disbanded by Willie Smith Elementary School on St. Bernard Highway in Violet.
