SBSO WISHES EVERYONE A SAFE AND HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Sheriff James Pohlmann said SBSO deputies will be increasing patrols and traffic enforcement this evening for Halloween festivities around the parish. Deputies also will be stationed at various high traffic areas throughout the parish to ensure trick-or-treaters and partygoers are protected.
π§ Please remember: Never move or drive around roadblocks or barricades that may be set up in neighborhoods. Theyβre there to keep everyone – especially our little ghosts and goblins – safe.
Here are a few important safety reminders:
π» Keep an eye on your children while they trick-or-treat, and always inspect treats before eating.
πΈ Drivers, please slow down and stay alert for pedestrians.
π¦ Choose bright, reflective costumes, and carry a flashlight for better visibility.
π±If anything seems suspicious, call 9-1-1 immediately. For non-emergency concerns, contact us at (504) 271-2501.
Have fun, stay alert, and enjoy a spooktacular Halloween from all of us at the St. Bernard Sheriffβs Office!
