SBSO VISITS WITH EARLY LEARNING CENTER
St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office Lt. Eric Eilers, supervisor of Community Relations, and Dep. Aaron Johnson, who also serves as chaplain, recently spent time with students at Jolly Kids Early Learning Center in Arabi.
Lt. Eilers and Dep. Johnson spoke to the students about some of the special equipment used by deputies and what they do to keep our parish safe.
Officer friendly visits such as this helps build trust and positive relationships between deputies and youth early on. These interactions show children that law enforcement is there to protect and support them, while also fostering open communication and promoting safety education.
