SBSO VISITS WITH AARP
St. Bernard Sheriff James Pohlmann and Col. Chad Clark, chief of detectives and commander of the Criminal Investigations Bureau, spent Saturday morning with members of the AARP Chapter 3926 during their meeting at the Council on Aging in Chalmette.
Sheriff Pohlmann and Col. Clark spoke to AARP members about strategies being implemented by the Sheriff’s Office to fight crime and help St. Bernard Parish remain the safest community in the metropolitan area.
They also spoke about how the Sheriff’s Office is recruiting new deputies and took questions from the audience.
