SBSO TO HOST FUNDRAISER FOR DEPUTY BATTLED LEUKEMIA

If you’re looking for a night off from cooking and want to support a meaningful cause, the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office invites you to a spaghetti dinner fundraiser benefiting Reserve Division Lt. Tony “Te-Ton” Jeansonne, who is currently battling leukemia.

The event will be held Wednesday, April 16, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 2107 Paris Road in Chalmette.

Plates are $15 each, and pickup, dine-in, or delivery (for orders of 10 or more) is available. Dinners include drinks and dessert.

Delivery orders must be requested by Monday, April 14 by sending an email to [email protected].

Scan the QR code on the attached promotional flyer to pay in advance.

All proceeds will help cover medical expenses and provide support during Lt. Jeansonne’s fight.

Lt. Jeansonne is a volunteer Reserve Division deputy, a fully trained law enforcement officer who receives no pay for his service. He also serves as the Constable of Ward J, continuing his long-standing commitment to public service.

“Te-Ton has given more than 25 years of his life to protecting this community,” Sheriff James Pohlmann said. “He’s been a constant presence at our festivals, parades, school events, and holidays. Now it’s our turn to be there for him.”

Let’s come together as a community to support a man who has spent decades serving ours.
