SBSO TEAM COMPETING IN BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT Head to the Val Riess Sports Complex in Chalmette now to see St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office deputies, along with firefighters, government workers and educators, show off their skills on the basketball court and vie for bragging rights at the STB Leagues’ S.C.O.R.E. Series’ basketball tournament. The Sheriff’s Office will face the Fire Department beginning at 2 p.m., followed by the School Board against Parish Government at 3 p.m. Winners from those two games will face off for the championship at 4 p.m. These games are community events aimed at bringing the community together in a fun, family-friendly, positive atmosphere. There will be a free bounce house for the kids, and concessions will be sold. All proceeds from these events will be donated to local charitable endeavors. SBSO team members are, from left: Lt.
