SBSO TAKING REGISTRATION FOR NIGHT OUT PARTIES
The St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office is inviting residents to take part in this year’s Night Out Against Crime by hosting neighborhood gatherings on Tuesday, Oct. 6, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
Night Out Against Crime is an annual community-building campaign that brings neighbors and law enforcement together to strengthen relationships, build trust and promote crime prevention. Whether it’s a backyard barbecue, block party or gathering at a neighborhood park or church, every event helps create a stronger, safer community.
☎✍️Residents who would like to host a Night Out Against Crime gathering are encouraged to register their event as soon as possible by contacting Lt. Eric Eilers or Lt. Jennifer Gutierrez at (504) 278-7628 or by emailing communityrelations@sbso.org.
On the evening of Oct. 6, Sheriff Pohlmann and deputies from several divisions will travel throughout the parish to visit registered events, meet with residents, answer questions and share crime prevention information.
Whether you’re hosting an event or attending one in your neighborhood, your involvement helps strengthen the partnership between residents and law enforcement while reinforcing the shared commitment to keeping St. Bernard Parish a safe place to live, work and raise a family.
