Mitchell Craft, 39, of the 200 block of Maumus Street in New Orleans, is wanted in connection with the armed robbery which occurred Sept. 11 on Lebeau Street in Arabi.
Another man has been named a person of interest in the incident and is wanted for questioning. He is a black male with a slender build and short, cropped hair.
The Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public in locating Craft and identifying the person of interest.
On Sept. 11, shortly before midnight, Sheriff Pohlmann said, deputies responded to a call for service in reference to an armed robbery that occurred in the 1000 block of Lebeau Street.
When deputies arrived on the scene they were met by a male victim who said he was followed by a man, later identified as Craft, from a business in Kenner to a residence on Lebeau.
