SBSO SEEKING TO IDENTIFY SUSPECT IN BUSINESS BURGLARY
The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a recent burglary at a Chalmette business, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
The incident occurred Wednesday, Oct. 23 at approximately 9:30 p.m. when the suspect made entry into a local business in the 200 block of West Judge Perez Drive.
The suspect, seen in the attached image, made entry by breaking a window and was inside for a short time before fleeing the scene after the alarm was triggered.
At this time, no items appear to have been taken from the business interior.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area or recognizes the individual in the attached image to contact the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office at (504) 271-2501, the Criminal Investigations Bureau’s tip hotline at (504) 271-TIPS or 8477, or Crimestoppers GNO at (504) 822-1111. Callers to the CIB tip hotline or Crimestoppers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash award from Crimestoppers.
