SBSO SEARCHING FOR MISSING VIOLET MAN
The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a 35-year-old Violet man reported missing by his family, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
Melvin Lewis Jr. was last seen at a family member’s residence in the 1900 block of Bridgehead Lane in Violet on Nov. 14, and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Lewis stands at 5’7” tall and weighs approximately 110 lbs.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Lewis is asked to contact St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office at (504) 271-2501 or the Criminal Investigations Bureau at (504) 278-7630. Tipsters also can call the Criminal Investigations Bureau’s tip hotline, (504) 271-TIPS or 8477, where they can leave a detailed message, and can either choose to provide their contact information or remain anonymous.
