SBSO SEARCHING FOR MISSING VIOLET MAN
The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a 70-year-old man who is missing, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
Danny Washington, of the 3300 block of Shannon Drive in Violet, was reported missing after family members were unable to contact him after several attempts.
Washington weighs 230 pounds and is 5’4” tall.
The investigation is in the early stages, but Sheriff Pohlmann said foul play is suspected.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Washington is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (504) 271-2501, the Criminal Investigations Bureau’s tip hotline at (504) 271-TIPS or 8477, or Crimestoppers GNO at (504) 822-1111. Callers to the CIB tip hotline or Crimestoppers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash award from Crimestoppers.
