SBSO RECEIVES BICYCLES FOR C.O.P.S. FOR CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

For more than two decades, Associated Terminals, the exclusive operator of the St. Bernard Port’s marine facilities, has helped make the holidays brighter for local children by donating bicycles to the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.

This December, Associated, along with Mike’s Electric, both donated more than two dozen bicycles to the Sheriff’s Office, distributed just in time for Christmas through the department’s C.O.P.S. (Caring Officers Provide Smiles) for Christmas program.
The annual initiative assists families in need by providing toys, food, clothing, Christmas trees, and other essential items during the holiday season.

“The generosity of our local businesses year after year truly makes a difference for families in our community,” Sheriff James Pohlmann said. “Their support helps us bring joy to children who might otherwise go without during the holidays, and we are extremely grateful for their partnerships.”
