SBSO PROMOTES CHAD CLARK TO DEPUTY CHIEF
St. Bernard Sheriff Richard Baumy has promoted Col. Chad Clark to Deputy Chief of the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The promotion is part of a leadership transition following Sheriff James Pohlmann’s retirement on Nov. 1 when Baumy was named Interim Sheriff, and John Doran was promoted from Deputy Chief to Chief Deputy.
Clark succeeds Doran as Deputy Chief and will serve as Chief of Operations, overseeing all enforcement operations for the Sheriff’s Office, including Patrol, Traffic, Special Investigations, Narcotics, Criminal Investigations and Special Operations.
Clark has 32 years of law enforcement experience and most recently served as commander of the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Bureau.
Please join us in congratulating Deputy Chief Chad Clark on his promotion.
