SBSO PARTICIPATES IN FUNDRAISER FOR ST. TAMMANY SGT. GRANT CANDIES
The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office participated in the Sgt. Grant Candies Memorial Golf Tournament held May 2 at Royal Golf Club in Slidell.
Sgt. Candies, who served with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office for nine years and was named their 2023 Deputy of the Year, was killed in the line of duty on March 23, 2025. He also was a United States Marine Corps veteran.
Proceeds from the tournament were donated to Sgt. Candies’ family.
