SBSO opens St. Bernard Highway, power being restored in the area
St. Bernard Sheriff James Pohlmann would like to inform residents that St. Bernard Highway’s eastbound lanes are now fully open in the Arabi area that was affected by yesterday’s tornado.
Also, Entergy has begun restoring power to some of the neighborhoods in the affected areas and traffic lights are beginning to come back online, the Sheriff said.
Deputies are still directing traffic at some intersections and will continue to make extra patrols until all power is restored.
