SBSO ISSUES ARREST WARRANT FOR LOCAL PHYSICIAN
The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office is investigating allegations involving a local physician and has obtained a warrant for his arrest, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
David Beary, 71, of the 1300 block of Aris Avenue in Metairie, is wanted on four counts of sexual battery. Beary is a gastroenterologist who at the time of the incidents had medical privileges at St. Bernard Parish Hospital.
The investigation is ongoing, the Sheriff said.
