SBSO INVESTIGATING FATAL SHOOTING IN CHALMETTE
The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office is on the scene investigating a fatal shooting in Chalmette, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
On Thursday, Feb. 9, at approximately 7:30 p.m., deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a shooting in the 3600 block of Golden Drive in Chalmette.
The victim, a male juvenile, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing, the Sheriff said.
