SBSO HONORED AT CHS SOFTBALL TEAM’S FIRST RESPONDERS NIGHT
The Chalmette High School Softball Team hosted a First Responders Night for the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office and St. Bernard Fire Department Wednesday, March 4 during its home game against Ascension Catholic High School.
Col. Chad Clark, commander of the Criminal Investigations Bureau, threw out the first pitch at the game.
Other SBSO members who participated included: Col. Daniel Bostic, commander of the Special Investigations Division; Lt. Eric Eilers of Community Relations; and Detective Sgt. Kenneth Sierra and Detective Sgt. Jessie Gernados, both of the Criminal Investigations Bureau.
St. Bernard Fire Chief Earl Borden Jr. and several St. Bernard firefighters also participated in the event.
Members of the 2026 CHS Softball Team are: Ella Tabora, Kennedi Grosch, Brianna Treadaway, Karmindi Grosch, Kaitlyn Knight, Kinsley McInnis, Emma Borden, Aubrie Watts, Adrian Fayard, Taylor Fortuna, Jasmyn Mancuso, Alacia Brown, Payton Beal, Jalynn Saenz, Kaylee Gonzales, Farrah Chaplain, Bri Cobden, Genesis Honold, Abigail Treadaway and Maya Salgado.
