Sheriff James Pohlmann wishes everyone a happy and joyous holiday season, and reminds residents that if you’ve had too much to drink, we’re just a call away.
Through our Holiday Ride Home program, a deputy will provide a free, safe ride home – no questions asked. 📞 Call: (504) 271-2501.
The program started on Thanksgiving and runs through Jan. 2.
➡️ We’ll take you to your home in St. Bernard Parish.
➡️ If you live outside the parish, we’ll bring you to a Sheriff’s substation where a friend or family member can pick you up.
➡️ Note: We won’t transport you to bars, nightclubs, or other parties.
