SBSO HOLDS SOBRIETY CHECKPOINT
The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with Louisiana State Police, conducted a sobriety checkpoint Thursday evening, Sept. 3, into early this morning as part of the national Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
The checkpoint was held to deter impaired driving and help keep parish roadways safe. No DWI arrests were made; however, several citations were issued for various traffic violations.
