SBSO DEPUTY TO PARTICIPATE IN CHARITY BOXING EVENT
Dep. Brock Cadman of the Field Operations Bureau Patrol Division will represent the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office in the Bayou Fighting Championship Battle of the Badges Boxing Event, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
The Battle of the Badges is a friendly boxing competition among local first responders, all with the goal of raising funds for local, first responder charities.
The event is set for Friday, Nov. 15 at the Pontchartrain Center, 4545 Williams Boulevard in Kenner. Doors open at 6 p.m., and boxing starts at 7 p.m.
Dep. Cadman, who has been boxing competitively for more than 10 years, started his law enforcement career in 2017 when he joined the SBSO Corrections Division at the Parish Prison. He has been a member of the Patrol Division since 2019.
