SBSO DEPUTIES GRADUATE FROM P.O.S.T. POLICE ACADEMY
Five St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies graduated Nov. 7 from the Peace Officers Standards and Training, or P.O.S.T. School, at the Slidell Regional Police Academy.
Congratulations to graduates: Dep. Coby Stevens, Dep. Jean-Paul Tujague, Dep. Benjamin Bradshaw and Dep. Ryan Cannon, all of the Field Operations Bureau Patrol Division, and Dep. Rodney Burke III, of the Communications Division’s 9-1-1 Center.
This academy included nearly 700 hours of training in all aspects of law enforcement, including firearms use, criminal investigation, patrol procedures, building clearance, writing reports, driving training and physical fitness.
Sheriff James Pohlmann congratulated the new deputies on their accomplishments, saying he’s proud of their hard work and dedication.
“Completing P.O.S.T. school is no easy task,” the Sheriff said. “These deputies have shown commitment and determination, and will serve the residents of St. Bernard Parish well.”
