SBSO DEP. BROCK CADMAN WINS BOUT AT CHARITY BOXING EVENT
Dep. Brock Cadman represented the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office in the Bayou Fighting Championship’s Battle of the Badges Charity Boxing Event, earning a solid win in his bout, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
The Battle of the Badges is an annual event that brings together local first responders for a friendly night of boxing, all in support of charities that serve first responders and their families.
This year’s event, held Nov. 21 at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner, featured more than a dozen exhibition-style matchups, with each bout consisting of three one-minute, 15-second rounds.
Dep. Cadman delivered an impressive performance, securing a TKO victory by verbal submission in his exhibition match against a Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office deputy.
Sheriff Pohlmann said he is proud of Dep. Cadman’s dedication – both in the ring and in his service to the residents of St. Bernard Parish.
A member of the Field Operations Bureau Patrol Division for the past six years, Dep. Cadman has been boxing competitively for more than 11 years. He began his law enforcement career in 2017 with the SBSO Corrections Division at the Parish Prison.
Dep. Cadman also won his bout in last year’s Battle of the Badges competition, marking back-to-back victories at the charity boxing event.
