SBSO DEP. BROCK CADMAN WINS BOUT AT CHARITY BOXING EVENT
Dep. Brock Cadman of the Field Operations Bureau Patrol Division won his bout when he represented the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office in the Bayou Fighting Championship Battle of the Badges Charity Boxing Event, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
The Battle of the Badges was a friendly boxing competition among local first responders, all with the goal of raising funds for local, first responder charities.
The event, held Nov. 15 at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner, featured more than a dozen exhibition-style boxing bouts, with 14 to 15 matchups scheduled. Each fight consisted of three rounds, lasting 1 minute and 15 seconds each.
Deputy Cadman delivered an impressive performance, securing a victory in one of the exhibition bouts during the event, and Sheriff Pohlmann is proud of his hard work, both in the ring and in service to our community.
Dep. Cadman, who has been boxing competitively for more than 10 years, started his law enforcement career in 2017 when he joined the SBSO Corrections Division at the Parish Prison. He has been a member of the Patrol Division since 2019.
